Panda Mony Toys - Sabotage (Alter Nation)

Sabotage is your ultimate disgruntled ex-employee. His team was decommissioned because of the investment in the new animal hybrid team, GK Special forces. As far as I can tell he's a cybernetically armored and enhanced human whose main job seems to just be a pain in the ass of the GK because he's real cranky! That said he's got an impressive body armor suit all decked out in blue and purple (the color of villainy!).

The figure is nice and heavy with some impressive firepower,  an intense eye light-up feature and an action punch arm that puts older 90s toys to shame! For this figure, in particular, I don't mind the lack of upper body articulation since it fits with the bulky design. The feet do a get a bit floppy sometimes but that, and the bad stickers, are my only true complaint!

Sculpt/Paint: 3/5 Good mix of interesting colors here using the blue, purple and light grey. I really like the bulk and heft of the figure. The toes and legs have a Mechwarrior type sculpt that definitely puts in mind 90s cybernetic fighting games.

Articulation: 3/5 (20 points) Sabotage comes with a head light-up feature that cancels out head-turning or waist swivel due to the battery pack. He's got decent single elbows, and hinge swivel wrists and hinge swivel ankles. Although his action feature is cool, it does seriously impede in what ways you can move the larger left arm. The hips splay very wide though and with hinge swivel knees (unusual in a figure that size), helps add some dynamism to what would otherwise be a pretty static figure.

Accessories: 3/5 He doesn't come with a ton, but they are neat. He has a minigun with blue pieces he can hold successfully in both hands, a light beige/grey gun with a cool canister on top and a pretty plain knife. These are mostly unpainted but the sculpts are cool looking.

Fun Factor: 3/5 I like the design of him, reminds me of Space Marines and other various armored soldiers. He's taking a bit to get posed since the ankles on my particular figure are a bit loose, and combined with his bulk teds to slip around. He's definitely a cool imposing thing on the shelf though, so points for that!

Verdict: 12/20 Good This is still a good figure, and I would say one that you can easily put into a bunch of differently themed action figure shots given he could fit in both 6" and 7" scale figures. I recommend even if you don't particularly plan on collecting the whole line!
That's a wrap for now for the Alter Nation line! They do have two other Bomber and Alpha that are on the list for Wave 2 but haven't been produced as of yet. I will likely get them because again they do look cool and I'm definitely into supporting wacky fun toy lines that haven't made mainstream.
