The Dark Knight directed by Christopher Nolan, one thing stood out above all the rest in the film regardless of whether you are a superhero/Batman fan or not: the performance by the late Heath Ledger. He was amazing as the Joker because he put such a unique take on the character's personality and appearance while also keeping to the essentials of what Joker's motivational psychopathy from the comics.
And here he is, in figure form! They did a pretty great job of him. His figure a nearly perfect representation of Heath Ledger's appearance in the film. He's got the iconic clothes with all their fine detail, a well-done printed face, and a ton of accessories. He's got a really good range of motion in the head and abdomen especially given he has the long coat.
It is possible to remove the coat but because of how far apart the arm pegs were designed and no extra arms to allow a coatless look, it looks pretty ridiculous to do that. If you buy the Joker (Cop version) from Mafex, he includes arms and a snarky expression head to recreate the interrogation room scene (definitely purchase in the foreseeable future!)
Onto the good stuff!
Sculpt/Paint: 5/5 Mafex did wonderful work here. His hair is well sculpted and shaded. They did a pretty good job of dot printing a good face, though it looks pretty grainy when viewed up close since the makeup on the actor is meant to be imperfect and twisted. His vest, tie and jacket are perfectly sculpted and painted. Add to all that, and they put some decent shading into the jacket and other parts of the figure.
Articulation: 5/5 (30+ points) He's got joints everywhere, and there's very little (even his jacket) that wholly restricts range. His legs, like Batman's, have a good ankle, toe hinge, double knees and drop down hinge hips. I really like how Mafex makes a soft crotch that gives a seamless look when standing.
Price/Availability: 4/5 You can find this figure on Hobby Link Japan, Amazon and any other online retailer at more or less (sometimes less) his original MSP. Nice!
Accessories: 5/5 So many, so well done. He comes with first hands, card holding hands, gun holding hands, knife holding hands, and some slightly splayed hands. He comes with an alternate grinning head (well done, even with painted yellow teeth). His weapons are pretty great in both sculpt and paint: two unique knives, a semi-automatic gun and pistol and an RPG launcher from the car chase scene. He also includes shoes with blades and several looks of playing cards. I like these since they are a thicker layer of plastic than we've seen with ones given to the Injustice Joker or /Harley Quinn. Also a pipe!
Fun Factor: 4/5 He is going to look fantastic beside any of your other Joker or Christopher Nolan Batman figures. Mostly I'd think you'd put him in a standard vanilla pose (he's well balanced though) with some kind of weapon and gesture, but pretty great all the same.
Verdict: 23/25 Great! Like I said in the Fun factor section, you'll love this with your Dark Knight display from the movies. I think the figure is a wonderful representation of the Joker from the film and it is of very high quality with great accessories. Buy it!

Back. Lots of good shading here and sculpt for the cloth folds. |

Removable! I've seen people do some good stuff with wire and cotton to create trailing smoke effects from the launched RPG here. |

I like the different cards |

Yowza! |

All dressed up! |
I was never as much a fan of "The Dark Knight" as everyone else seemed to be but that's a pretty boss figure.
