Nothing makes an Arkham game like random minions that populate a completely empty city, asylum or sector! Not only that, but they colour-match their outfits to the villain they are a member of! It's kind of funny how basically each villain has their own gang that either just roams the streets causing mayhem, or guarding some building with hostages/devices. I was kinda disappointed that we didn't get more villain minions than the two clowns. There were plans I believe to make Arkham Knight Tyger Guards, but they got cancelled and never made it to production.
That said, these are super well detailed! Not extremely articulate, but the weapons look good and they are menacing enough to make a couple of good vignettes with Batman fighting. For whatever reason, these are generally extremely expensive but I managed to get them in a pretty decent lot of older Arkham figures and NECA movie TMNT figures.
Sculpt/Paint: 3/3 These are SUPER well detailed. The washes are amazing, there are veins sculpted throughout the upper body and there are tons of other details like the shirt and pant fabrics. Each lace hole rivet is painted! I mean, that's super detailed.
Articulation: 1/3 There are limited but interesting choices here. The head has some limited ball range, there is a waist swivel. The rest of the joints are swivels: pelvis, mid-thigh, and mid-forearm. The shoulders are ball hinge but are limited by how slouched forward the back is. The elbows are single swivel but work well enough. Due to the limited lower limbs, it's not really possible to do a lot of dynamic posing here.
Accessories: 1/1 They come with 1 weapon each and they are really well done! Nice shading and the bat even has some writing on it!
Fun Factor: 2/3 I think the best thing about these is that they round out a villain's gallery to be minor opponents for a display. They also have a pretty good aesthetic and solid balance, despite bieng kinda stuck in a horse riding pose. Not bad!
Verdict: 7/10 Limited This is definitely nice to have to finish out an Arkham gallery. I'll admit though, these were only a consideration for me because of the deal I got. Finding them online for upwards of 50+ bucks? not super worth it unless you are a hardcore Arkham collector.
