DC Collectibles Harley Quinn (Arkham Knight)

By the time Arkham Knight rolls around, Harley Quinn has been on kind of a wild ride. In Origins she lives her classic story from a psychiatrist in training under Hugo Strange. In Asylum, she is the assistant to Joker's plan to turn the Asylum into his own funhouse. In City, she goes between being the assistant to the mourning girlfriend who manages to capture Batman, leading a fun play as Robin in the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC. In Arkham Knight, she takes control of Joker's gang and joins Scarecrow, not for the big overall plan, but simply to destroy Batman.

This appearance and look for Harley Quinn definitely is more in line with the Arkham City version. She has the two-tone leggings with diamonds, hair in two side ponytails, and her baseball bat. One thing added was the puffed shoulders more in line with her Asylum appearance. She does still have the white makeup, but not as much else typical of her previous appearances. For a figure I wasn't sure DC Collectibles was going to give a good treatment of, I'm pleasantly surprised. It has decent articulation and quite a few fun accessories.

Sculpt/Paint:5/5 The sculpt is soft for the face, but the rest of the details are really clean and well done. The paint is pretty precise and the use of colors is that more drab palette. This all matches up perfectly with the game. One thing I notice is the bluish/dark ponytails colors look too muddy, but that's a small nitpick.

Articulation: 4/5 28 points The figure is pretty poseable with several extra cuts to increase options. She has a ball-jointed head and diaphragm joint. The elbows are hinge/swivel but the knees are double-jointed. The legs especially have more joints with a boot cut swivel and thigh cut swivel on top of the regular ball-jointed hips and hinge/swivel ankles.

Accessories: 5/5 Probably the most accessories I've had so far with an Arkham figure really: two extra hands to hold accessories, a jack-in-the-box with metal spring, baseball bat, pistol, and an injector device. All painted well and pretty much everything you need for an Arkham Knight Harley Quinn at this price point!

Pretty nice batch of accessories

Fun Factor: 4/5 She balances really well on the shelf and with the accessories and posing options you can have a lot of fun recreating scenes.

Verdict: 18/20 Great A really cool figure and one of my favorite looks for Harley Quinn in the Arkham series, even though it's still overly sexualized.

Close up: Really well done makeup details

Back: lots of good sculpting details here

Size comparison to to Origins Harley, Asylum Harley
and Arkham Knight Harley. Funny how despite the
massive platform shoes both other Harley's are just as tall
and AK Harley is even taller. Seeing all these together makes me
clearly in need of Arkham City Harley for a final showdown.

Really good splits, impeded by the (although softer rubbery material) ruffled skirt
Enough balance for an unassisted kick.

Cause if you feel like dancing!

The waist just gives enough tilt for a bit of action posing

I'm not 100% sure when the injector was used in the Arkham Knight game....definitely
it featured heavily in the City game.

In her DLC in the Predator Challenges, these are set up
to take out enemies or stun them

I don't know where in comics Harley moved from huge mallet to baseball bat
but I feel like I missed the transition!

Bat-fight! Harley has successfully
been able to knock out some pretty heavy fighters in various
comics though admittedly usually either in a team or by some other kind of
wicked surprise attack.

He lifts her up!

and lets her down!
This is about as close of a baseball bat two-handed hold as you're going to get
given she doesn't have butterfly joints and restricted shoulder movement!
